Taylor Swift is releasing four limited editions ‘Midnights’ vinyl.
Swifties are counting down the hours until Taylor Swift’s 10th studio album “Midnights” is released on Friday, October 21 at 12 a.m. ET.
Fans have been waiting for easter eggs, hints, and anything else that will help them know what to expect since Swift announced her new album in August. Swift recently revealed a collaboration track with Lana Del Rey. The album will tell “the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life,” according to the 11-time Grammy winner.
Swift’s first billboard went up on October 17 in — where else? — Times Square, the world’s central destination for light-up signs and advertisements. “I should not be left alone,” the cryptic lyric read.
Then came a simple, sweet Midnights fragment, which debuted on a billboard in London on October 18. “I polish up really nice,” it said.
Taylor Swift is releasing four exclusive albums exclusively on her website, taylorswift.com. The surprise, however, does not stop there. You can make a “Midnight” clock by collecting all four types of vinyl or CDs. Each vinyl album contains 13 songs, one-of-a-kind back and front cover art, and an 8-page lyric booklet with never-before-seen photos.
TIME’S SQUARE
Swift’s first lyric reveal came at midnight on October 17, four days before the release of Midnights. The cryptic lyric — “I should not be left to my own devices” — flashed in front of New Yorkers and tourists on a Times Square billboard against a backdrop of dark blue storm clouds.
Lavender Special Edition
Taylor Swift is teaming up with Target once more to release a store-exclusive album. The lavender vinyl edition includes all 13 songs plus three bonus tracks, a collectible album jacket, a one-of-a-kind vinyl disc, and an 8-page lyric booklet with previously unseen photos.
